A Level Crossing Removal Project, this package transformed the communities of Cheltenham and Mentone. By removing three dangerous and congested level crossings, building two new stations and revitalising the area with open spaces and shared-use paths, the project helped remove barriers and reunite local residents living either side of the railway line.
